[Road Scope Series] ADAS CAM OPTIAN Method to set the vehicle type and the install position

[ADAS CAM OPTIAN] ADAS CAM OPTIAN ADAS is malfunctioning.

If the horizon guideline setting of ADAS CAM OPTIAN is not done correctly; the ADAS function may not work accurately.

[ADAS CAM OPTIAN] Both arrows on the ADAS CAM OPTIAN display blink.

When both arrows are blinking on the live-view screen, it indicates that the blinker signals connection is not correct.





If the turn indicator input is incorrect, the ADAS function may not work correctly. Therefore, change it by following the video below.

[Road Tacho Series] Road Tacho Series keypad does not work.

1) For driving safety, the keypad does not work while on the road.

Keypad operation can be activated when the vehicle engine is off.

 

* Please operate it while the vehicle is in the ACC state.

[Road Tacho Series] The Road Tacho Series product has no power.

1) Please make sure that the product cable is connected to the back of the main body properly.



* This product will be powered ON only when the vehicle is in ACC state or when the engine is ON.

[Road Tacho Series] recorded data cannot be downloaded.

1) Please check if SD card is in the product.



2) Check if the SD card is in the LOCK state (the SD card left home button is down).



Not able to download to SD card while in LOCK state.





3) Please check if SD card is provided by PLK. Downloading may not work in other SD cards.

[Road Scan Series] The product does not have power.

1) Please check if the cigar power is connected properly.





2) If there is anything wrong with the cigar power cable, please contact the customer support center.

[Road Scan Series] Road box does not have sound.

1) Please check if the power is connected properly.





2) Make sure that the volume is not '0' in the device setting of the viewer program.

[Road Scan Series] The road box product may have an overheating issue.

A. If you use it for a long time in hot summer or under direct sunlight, heat can be generated. It may cause some heat in the internal circuit and voice control part, but it is not a malfunction.



* If you leave it under direct sunlight for a long time, there is a risk of damage to the product. So please keep it in a shaded place.

[Road Scan Series] The road box PC does not recognize the product.

1) Please make sure that you have installed the road box exclusive driver.





2) To confirm the normal installation of driver, click Start button at the bottom of the PC -> Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge  device manager in the list at Universal Serial Bus Controller  -> Check CP210x USB to UART Bridge Controller in the list of Port.





3) If the driver is not installed, download and install the driver from the download center of the website.





* The road box program works on a PC with Windows 2000 or XP installed.





It does not run on Windows 7.

[Road Scan Series] The product has no power

1)Please check if the cigar power is connected properly.

2) If there is anything wrong with the cigar power cable, please contact the customer support center.

[Road Scan Series] Video data cannot be downloaded in USB disk.

1) Make sure you have pressed the DN button for a few seconds. When you start downloading, the LED will turn blue with the beeping sound.






2) Please make sure that you have waited for the download to be finished. When the download is finished, the LED turns blue along with a beep sound.






3) Road Scan only supports USB removable disks formatted with FAT16 or FAT32.


Please format the removable disk with FAT16 or FAT32.

[Road Scan Series] PC does not recognize the product.

2) For checking the normal installation of the driver, click Start button at the bottom of the PC -> Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> Device Manager -> Check the KETI USB Controller in the list at universal serial bus controller.







3) If the driver is not installed correctly, please check the instructions at the download center and install it.

[Road Scan Series] Recorded videos look blurry.

1) Please check whether the lens of the product is contaminated, and wipe it with a soft towel.





2) Please make sure whether it is not set to normal image quality in the settings of viewer program.

[Road Scan Series] Videos cannot be recorded

Please check if the number of triggering condition is high. Only more significant impacts can be stored when the number is set higher.
